His journey to a B-Town Celeb

Sushant first got into Bollywood as a background dancer.He then dropped his engineering course and moved to Mumbai to pursue his dream of beacoming and actor. He did some roles in daily T.V soaps initially but his performance in "Pavitra Rishta" was recognised by a lot of viewers.

Later in 2013, he made his film debut with Kai Po Che! His performance in "P.K" (staring Amir Khan and Anushka Sharma) was praised a lot by the audience, where he was seen as a supporting actor. The movie "Ms Dhoni" was a huge hit as well as his most famous movie, in which he portrayed the main chracter.For his performance in the latter, he received his first nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Actor. Rajput went on to act in the commercially successful films Kedarnath and Chhichhore (2019). His last film, Dil Bechara, was released posthumously on Hotstar.
